C.K. Park, President & Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

C.K. Park

Mr. C.K. Park has served as President & CEO of Nationwide IT Services, Inc. (NIS) since its founding in 2006.   Mr. Park is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in corporate start-up, strategy, organizational design and development, operations, financials and all aspects of the project management lifecycle. Mr. Park is a veteran with over 22 years of service in the U.S. Army, serving in diverse leadership positions across the globe.  He has vast practical knowledge in HR Systems, and worked for large system integration and global consulting firms supporting both commercial and government customers. 

C.K. is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Version 3 Practitioner, and has an MS in Administration with Concentration in HR from Central Michigan University and a BS in Management from Hawaii Pacific University.

C.K. was featured in CIO Magazine, and  NIS was selected as one of the 20 most promising tech consulting providers for 2014 by CIOReview.


Michele E. Hoopes, Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Michele Hoopes

Ms. Michele Hoopes joined NIS in January 2017. Ms. Hoopes brings 30 years of industry knowledge as an information technology professional, manager and executive. Ms. Hoopes has served small and large firms in the Federal and Defense sectors as well as commercial firms such as Marriott International and USAirways. She joins NIS from her most recent positions as COO for New Directions Technologies, Inc. (NDTI), and at ActioNet as Chief Quality Officer (CQO).  Ms. Hoopes has extensive experience in program management, business development and proposal operations, organizational change management, and quality initiatives.

Ms. Hoopes holds a BS degree in Management Information Systems and Decision Sciences from George Mason University. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Version 3 Practitioner.


John S. Dermatas, Vice President – Business Development

John Dermatas

Mr. John Dermatas joined NIS in August 2017 and brings with him over 35 years of diverse information technology industry experience in Engineering, Sales, Business Development, and Proposal Operations.  Prior to his Business Development Leadership roles, Mr. Dermatas held progressively responsible Engineering positions with P&L responsibilities for field office operations throughout the U.S. and at International locations. His background includes Facilities; Operations & Maintenance; Industrial Repair; Manufacture Representation; and Channel, Reseller and Distribution.

Mr. Dermatas’ has been a trusted advisor to both DoD and Civilian Federal Agencies and commercial organizations providing consultative sales, developing Enterprise solutions, and creating strategies and business approaches for start-up operations.  He has devised complex professional services engagements inclusive of hardware, software, engineering, design, systems integration, and systems architecture.  He has extensive experience building and managing successful Business Development and Sales Departments through focused efforts on reshaping methodologies, strategy and concept formulation, pipeline development, capture management, and proposal development.  Mr. Dermatas holds a Mechanical Engineering Degree from the University of Maryland and has received formal training in Engineering, Sales, Business Development, and Proposal Management/Operations.
