Nationwide IT Services (NIS) proudly participated as a Partner Sponsor of the McClendon Center’s Art of Transformation Reception and Client Art Show. Our attendance and sponsorship increased community awareness, and helped to raise funds for meals, clinical treatments, and therapy programs.
The McClendon Center is a non-profit organization that provides behavioral health services and programs for over 2,000 men and women in the District of Columbia who are coping with mental illness and/or addiction. The McClendon Center helps its clients work towards recovery, independence, and personal success by providing group therapies such as art, music and movement, and by providing a free clinic with access to psychiatric care and other health amenities.
