Nationwide IT Services (NIS) is pleased to announce a new contract from the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA). Under this contract, NIS will support FHFA with the redesign and development of their on-premises SharePoint website, transforming it into an industry best practice content management system using Drupal Open-Source technology.
The FHFA was created by the Housing and Economic Recovery Act of 2008 (HERA) to regulate and supervise Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and the 11 Federal Home Loan Banks (jointly, the "regulated entities"). These institutions play critical roles in supporting our nation's housing finance system.
In the coming year, NIS will re-architect and re-engineer FHFA's SharePoint-based public website, www.FHFA.gov, and migrate it to a new FedRAMP-certified cloud environment.
