On October 12, 2018, the Washington Business Journal released a list of the Largest Cybersecurity Companies in Greater D.C., ranked by 2017 metro-area revenue. Nationwide IT Services (NIS) was ranked 22nd.

NIS provides cybersecurity services to both defense and civilian government agencies, specializing in risk management framework, security assessments, compliance and engineering, continuous diagnostic management, FedRAMP, IDS, IPS, network security, and information security/training.
